This article shows Powerschool Administrators how to export out the NCEA survey data out of Powerschool for elementary schools.  This export is limited to Powerschool Admin accounts with the correct group permissions to allow for access to Data Export Manager.  Without access to Data Export Manager there wont be a way to easily export the data out.  If your account does not have access to Data Export Manager then please check with the SBTC Support Desk. 

 

Export Survey Data

To export out the Survey Data you are going to follow these steps: 

1. Log into Powerschool Admin Portal
2. Change School to District Office.  You can do that by clicking on the upper right hand side "School" link.  From drop down select District Office
3. Click on Special Functions on the left hand side menu bar.
4. Click on Importing & Exporting
5. Find and click on Data Export Manager
6. Click on Scheduled System Templates
7. Click on the "FSP File Export" template name
8. The template will take a second to load but will give you all the necessary Fields.  Click "Next"
9. On the Filters page Select the correct School Year
10. Click Next
11. Click Export.

 

 

You should get an export from Powerschool that is a Text Tab-delimited file with the Survey Data organized by page.
